Start by placing a layer of soil in the basket to begin with, then space your bulbs out to the recommended distance within the basket. After this, dig out a planting hole at an appropriate depth and bury the basket complete with the bulbs inside. After flowering, the basket can be easily and quickly lifted with all of the bulbs inside.
