Shire Garden Buildings only uses wood from sustainable sources, so you can feel confident about the quality of a product you purchase from them. The timber used is a slow-growing continental timber. Slower growth means tighter grain, greater strength, and a longer life.

Shire garden structures are pre-treated on both sides with a golden brown water-based industrial product (colour can vary from the picture shown). Shire recommends using a water-based top coat of your choice. This will protect the timber on your shed from weathering, allowing it to last longer.
