The engine offers recoil starting and also push button electric start for easiest starting available. This rear wheel drive lawn mower offers an impressive 42cm cutting width and a robust steel deck. Powered by a 139cc 4 stroke OHV petrol engine, the mower features low noise levels and great fuel consumption levels.

The self propelled drive provides easy mowing as the mower will drive itself meaning the user only has to guide the machine in the right direction, for safety the handlebar features a OPC (Operators Presence Control), so should you lose grip on the handle the engine will cut out and stop the lawn mower. The handlebars can be folded to save space on storage and make the lawn mower easy to transport. All lawns are catered for as the the cutting height can be adjusted by a single lever through 6 stages from 25mm to 75mm, for the first cut of the season or for longer grass, set to the highest setting so as not to scalp the grass, but then for maintaining the lawn the lower settings will keep on top of regular cutting.

The HYM430SPE offers versatile lawn mowing with the option of rear discharge of the grass clippings, collection in the large 45 litre grass catcher or mulching option. With mulch option, the grass box is removed and grass clippings are kept within the cutting deck and chopped up by the blade into a fine mulch, the mulch is then dropped back on to your lawn. This reduces the need to empty the grass box while mowing and the mulch provides the lawn with a natural fertiliser to nourish your grass.
