The Nordmann Fir is the most popular Christmas Trees. It is known as the non drop Xmas tree because it does not shed it's needles when brought into the house, hence it's popularity. Nordmanns are slow growing in the first few years but from this size the growth will accelerate and they should reach six feet in four or five years.

Plant at least 1.2m apart and at this rate it is possible to plant up to 4000 per acre. A 6ft tree sells for £50 to £90 depending on the area. Keep them well watered – especially in the Spring and Summer in the first year of planting.
